1. Acceptance

By downloading or using TalkingMeow, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

TalkingMeow provides AI-powered cat video analysis, translations, and care tools for entertainment and educational purposes. Output is not veterinary, medical, or professional behavioral advice. Not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

  • TalkingMeow is rated 4+; users under 18 should use the app with a parent or guardian's permission where required
  • Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure
  • One personal account per user; do not circumvent usage limits with multiple free accounts
  • Sign in via email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In

4. Plans, Credits & Billing

Current plans (USD, subject to store pricing in your region):

  • Free: 3 analyses/day, 1 follow-up/day, up to 30s clips
  • Micro: $2.99/mo or $25.99/yr — food journal, cat shelf, up to 90s clips
  • Pro: $5.99/mo or $53.99/yr — advanced analysis, AI scans, training, up to 5 min clips
  • Premium: $9.99/mo or $89.99/yr — deep analysis, custom sounds, barcode lookup, up to 1 hour clips, 1-year video retention
  • Credit packs: one-time purchases ($0.99 / $4.99 / $9.99) for extra analyses — no subscription required
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends
  • Billing is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; refunds follow store policies
  • We may change plan features or pricing with notice; existing subscribers are handled per store rules

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have rights to (including others' cats without permission where required)
  • Post harmful, abusive, or illegal content on Explore or support channels
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems or AI providers
  • Use the service for unauthorized commercial resale
  • Circumvent paywalls, credit limits, or security controls

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of videos and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, analyze, and display your content solely to operate the service. If you post to Explore (when available), that content may be visible to other users until removed.

You can delete individual analyses from History, or individual meals from Food Journal → Edit Meal. Account deletion removes your associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Some in-app product links (pantry/shelf) may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

7. Disclaimers

  • Not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis
  • Translations and insights are for entertainment — not medical or behavioral advice
  • AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; we do not guarantee correctness
  • The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalkingMeow's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends.

10. Changes

Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
